Founded in 2022 in Calgary, Alberta, Maple Pet Provisions was born from a singular, uncompromising vision: our pets deserve gear as rugged, beautiful, and enduring as the landscapes we explore together.
As lifelong pet owners and avid outdoorsmen, we were constantly frustrated by the cycle of buying pet supplies that couldn't withstand a real Canadian winter or a summer hike in the Rockies. We watched coats tear on branches, beds flatten after a month, and toys unravel within hours. We knew there had to be a better way—a way that honored both our pets and our environment.
What started as a small workshop crafting heavy-duty leather collars for our own dogs has evolved into a nationwide destination for premium pet provisions. Yet, our core philosophy remains unchanged: every item we sell is rigorously tested by our own four-legged family members before it ever reaches yours.

We actively seek out materials that are sustainable, recycled, or upcycled. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and free of single-use plastics. When you purchase a wooden cat tree or a durable rope toy from us, you can trust that it was crafted with respect for the forests and oceans it came from.
Furthermore, we proudly donate 1% of all our annual profits to Canadian wildlife conservation initiatives, ensuring that the wild spaces our pets love remain wild for generations to come.

Co-Founder & Head of Product
With a background in industrial design and a lifetime spent hiking the backcountry of British Columbia, Elias ensures every product is structurally sound and aesthetically timeless. His Golden Retriever, 'Barnaby', is the official Chief Testing Officer for all large dog beds.
Sarah Lin
Co-Founder & Head of Operations
Sarah brings a decade of experience in sustainable supply chain management to Maple Pet. She is fiercely protective of our ethical sourcing standards. Her rescue Maine Coon, 'Grizzly', oversees the quality control of all our feline enrichment products.
